In the second half of 2006, UWI took over the management of ROYTEC. As a part of the UWI family, ROYTEC’s graduation took place recently at the Sport and Physical Education Centre of the St Augustine Campus.

A team from St. Augustine has been managing the transition with good support from ROYTEC staff and with the assistance of an RBTT team. Campus Registrar Jeremy Callaghan leads the UWI team while Mr. Glen Cheong leads the RBTT team. Dr. David Rampersad, Director of Business Development at UWI was the main liaison with ROYTEC staff until Mr. Errol Simms took up his role as Interim Executive Director.
