Objectives:
1.
To share findings of and obtain feedback on 3-year SEDU
study for the UK Department for International Development
(DFID) on the Sustainable Livelihoods Approach to Poverty
Eradication in the Caribbean – with case studies
of St. Lucia, Belize and application to Grenada;
2. To share results of similar policy studies and actual
experiences of implementing community-focused sustainable-livelihood
policies in the Caribbean; and
3. To discuss the formation of regional networks on sustainable
livelihoods and community-based Sustainable Tourism.
Venue: Faculty of Engineering Lecture Theatre 101
