Welcome Message

How do I attend?

• A Reply Form form was sent with your invitation letter from the Campus Registrar.  You must complete that form, detach it and return it to:

              The Assistant Registrar
              Student Affairs (Admissions)
              UWI St. Augustine Campus
              Trinidad & Tobago

  No later than August 30, 2007

   

  What do I wear?

  The Matriculation Ceremony is a formal one and New Students to be presented are required to wear formal dress.

              LADIES:          White Blouse and black skirts/trousers
              GENTS:           White shirt and tie/shirt-jac, black trousers
                                     
  OTHER COLOURS ARE NOT PERMITTED
  We ask that you comply with these requirements.

   

  Invitations / Guests

  Because of limited accommodation, you can invite only ONE (1) Person as your guest to attend the Matriculation Ceremony. 

  We regret that we are unable to accede to requests for additional invitations.

   

  The Ceremony

  The ceremony will be held on Thursday September 13, 2007 at the JFK Quadrangle

  Assembling for the Ceremony

  1. You should assemble under the covered walkway of the JFK Quadrangle at 3.30 p.m.
  2. You will be met by Ushers who will group you by Faculty in preparation for the procession into the JFK Auditorium.
  3. Look for the signs with the name of your Faculty and remain in that area.

  You are required to stay in place for the entire ceremony.

  Students who arrive after the ceremony has begun will not be allowed to participate in the Ceremony.  Please pay particular attention to this advice and be guided accordingly.
