The Integrated Marketing Function essentially involves ensuring the proper targeting and development of marketing strategies and programmes. The use of the word 'integrated' is to emphasise the all-encompassing role that marketing must play in the strategic decision-making process.
The office works with all constituents to ensure that market strategies support the overall strategic objectives of the university. This close association ensures that there is vertical and horizontal integration of goals & objectives and therefore strategies are developed and implemented within the parameters of the institutional mission, vision and strategic plan.
