Information Technology Unit • Services The IT Unit serves the Faculty in two broad areas: Support Services The unit assist academic staff to exploit IT in teaching, learning, and research. It also provides students with access to the Internet, e-mail, word-processing, and printing facilities. Information Systems The unit is responsible for customising and supporting the services required by the Secretariat, the Teaching Staff, and the Library in its operation and administration. The range of services provided by the IT Unit include, but are not limited to: Assisting and supporting academic staff in developing online learning materials Maintaining the Institute's web site Assisting in procurement of IT equipment or services for the Institute Provide a range of services and facilities
