UWI
Hiking Club has over 500 registered members. It is a club designed
to involve the UWI student in some good, clean fun while getting to know
our beautiful twin island republic. In a nutshell, the club allows the
Travel Channel to come to life as the hiker can get up close and personal
with the flora, fauna and scenic spots.

Stick like glue to your friend or group.

Leave the party clothes at home. Wear proper clothes and shoes.

Bring your personal drugstore, i.e. your special medications.

We have no caterers so bring enough food and water.

Listen to the experienced guides - to prevent injuries to yourself and others.

| Where we meet? |
Well
you are going to have to look out for the e-mails (if your address was
legible) or flyers on the notice boards around campus for the upcoming
hike, then move your bootie to the meeting place (downstairs the Guild
Office,SAC) at the specified date and time. All participants must sign
up and pay for the hike in advance. (before Friday prior to the hike).

The
club has a bountiful supply of experience and have been to Paria waterfall,
Madamas Gorges, Rincon waterfall, Habio waterfall, Mermaid Pools, camping
out at Matelot, camping out at Chacachacare, Tobago weekend..….need

We
do our best to assist needy families who live in the remote areas where
we hike…afterall, charity does begin at home.

Anyone
can join. We cater for everyone The bored and frustrated, the born hiker,
the aerobics junkie and of course the KFC addict.
