Semester

The Health Service Unit is opened weekdays between the hours of 8.30 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. Clinical services are available from 8.30 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. with extended hours from 4.00 – 8.00 p.m. The pharmacy hours are from 9.00 a.m. – 8.00 p.m. Please note that clinical and pharmacy services are offered during lunch hour 12noon to 1.00 p.m. period.

Vacation Period

The Health Service Unit is open during the hours of 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. weekdays. Students are urged to seek medical attention preferably in the morning session during the vacation period. The afternoon sessions are reserved for emergency services and administrative work.

After Hours Care and Emergency Services

Extended medical and pharmaceutical services are available from 4.00 p.m. – 8.00 p.m. daily during the semester. Emergency services required after normal working hours can be obtained through the Students Health Plan at one of our two (2) preferred private facilities.
In order to access the credit facility available at these institutions, the student will be required to produce his/her valid identification card and he/she will be asked to sign the guarantor form. Please note the student is ultimately responsible for any difference in cost between the cost of services rendered by the private medical facility and the cost of the plan benefit to which he/she is entitled.
