Limitation
The
plan does not cover the following:-
1)
Self-afflicted injury while sane or insane; treatment
of chronic alcoholism, drug addiction, severe allergy
or nervous or mental disorders.
2) Injury or illness resulting from civil insurrections
or war.
3) Rest cures, sanitaria or custodial care.
4) Cosmetic or plastic surgery unless necessitated by
accidental injury
5) General dental care, general health examinations or
the supply or fitting of spectacles, hearing aids.
6) Disability originating prior to the effective date
of the Insured’s coverage. However, after six months
of continuous coverage without medical expenses having
been incurred, this limitation ceases to apply.
7) All expenses related to pregnancy (including childbirth,
miscarriage or abortion) and complications arising therefrom.
8) The administration of prescription of preventative
medicine.
9) Expenses incurred other than those which are necessary
for the health of a member.
