In order to qualify for the award of a degree
a student must:
have completed a minimum of 90
credits (normally equivalent to 30 semester
courses) of which:
at least 30 credits are from
Level I semester courses (including
the Foundation Course requirement),
and
at least 60 credits from Levels II
and III semester courses.
have satisfied the requirements for their
specific degree programmes.
Degrees are offered in the following categories:
Specialization
Major
Double major
Major and one minor
Major and two minors
A student must be formally registered in one
of these categories:
A specialisation comprises a
minimum of 45 credits in the subject area
over Levels II and III.
A major is made up of a minimum of 30
credits in the subject area over Levels
II and III.
A double major is made up of a minimum
of 30 credits each in 2 subject areas over
Levels II and III.
A minor comprises a minimum of 15 credits
in the subject area over Levels II and III.
A major/minor comprises a minimum of 30
Levels II and III credits in the subject
area of the major and 15 Levels II and III
credits in the subject area of the minor.
