The Certificate in Management Information
Systems (CMIS) is part of the Faculty's
drive to better serve the MIS environment. Upon
completion, participants should be able
to function competently and efficiently
in an MIS or any other environment in
which the computer plays a key role.
Programme Specifications
Duration
Approximately two academic years (over
three summers)
Target Audience
This course is intended principally
for persons currently employed in computer
related occupations but who lack formal
training in the area.
Entry Requirements
5 Ordinary Level/CXC General passes,
including Mathematics and English Language,
or some equivalent qualification
at least two years experience in a
computer environment
