TALK ABOUT BRAVERY !!! KRISHEL LEWIS & JOSEPH FREDRICK TAKE TOP SEMESTER HONOURS Date: Monday 19th December 2005
The TTSA would like to send congratulations to one of our members, Ms. Krishel Lewis, who took part in the recently held Mr. and Ms. Uwiverse pageant. The Pageant which was planned and developed by the SAC committee under the Guild of Students kicked off on Friday 11th November 2005 in front of a capacity crowd of nearly 1000 students in the JFK auditorium, St. Augustine Campus. The show was a display of talent as some 10 males and 9 females took the stage to vie for the top honour of being Titled Mr. or Ms. UWIverse. Though Krishel did not place in the top three she still represented to her fullest in all the categories. (and, to put it like ah Trini.....real people doh hadda kinda belly to go up on stage and represent like dat, so we give she real forward!) So, thank you Krishel for making the TTSA proud. For her efforts, the executive has awarded Krishel a special award for participating in this campus event and representing the TTSA! Well Done!! (Or as they say in fetes....Rah rah!!)
