Lunchtime Seminars

The Lunchtime Seminar Series is an important area of the activities of the Centre For Gender And Development Studies.

The Series, which takes place bi-monthly on Thursdays from 12:00 noon to 1.30pm, is designed to give exposure to academics, artists and activists working in the area of Caribbean and international studies in gender - masculinity and femininity studies, feminism, and gender related topics.

The Lunchtime Seminar Series encourages interdisciplinary, cross-faculty and inter-university exploration of themes and ideas of concern to women.
The Series is open to the Public, who may put forward ideas for Seminars, as well as being invited to attend and participate in discussions at the end of each presentation.

The Outreach Officer at the Centre, Ms. Camille Antoine is responsible for all arrangements relating to the Lunchtime Seminar Series. Suggestions and abstracts may be forwarded to Ms. Antoine at cantoine@cgds.uwi.tt or 645-3232 exts 3548/9
