CAP is designed to provide
information and advice to
students from year one to final
year on career planning and
career development. These would
include formalized. Sessions
giving an introduction into
decision making. At these
sessions students would be
exposed to a career development
three year plan. The workshops
would be held bi-monthly during
semester one. The workshops
would be an hour in duration and
would be facilitated by a
careers and placement officer.
These workshops will consist of
psychometric testing (self
assessment tests) to support the
students through the steps
required in making some career
decisions and adopting an
effective job search approach.
The Career Orientation workshops
are self motivated and students
would have to take the
initiative to come into Student
Advisory to do the test.
